시놉시스Synopsis
대만의 독특한 음식 문화이기도 한 길 한복판에서의 잔치 연회는 과거 열병단이 훈련 후에 먹던 '국밥'에서 유래됐다. 이 국밥은 대만이 경제적 번영을 누리면서부터 결혼식과 생일 파티에서 즐길 수 있는 진미로 발전했다. 대만인 4대가 즐겨 먹는 요리이자 경제 호황의 상징이 된 국밥의 일대기.
Roadside banquets, Taiwan’s unique culinary culture, originated from the “rice soup” served after parade troupe drillings in the past. With economic prosperity, it has evolved into delightful delicacies served at weddings and birthday parties. It is not only the gourmet food for four generations of Taiwanese, but the symbolic of the economic boom.
감독Director
대만 윈린현 출신. 국립 타이난 예술대학교 대학원에서 다큐멘터리를 전공했다. 전통 분야에서 대를 이어 장사를 해온 가족들로부터 큰 영향을 받은 그는 작품을 통해 시대를 거쳐 점점 사라져가는 문화에 대한 메시지를 전하곤 한다. 차분함과 평온함으로 대변되는 그의 영상에는 실제 생활을 관찰하며 얻어낸 일상생활의 정수가 곳곳에 담겨 있다.
Born in Taiwan Yunlin County, SHIH Ho Feng graduated from the Graduate Institute of Studies in Documentary at Tainan National University of the Arts. His family’s business in the traditional industries has such profound influence on him that in his works, Shih often conveys the disappearing cultures as society moves with the times. His visual style is known for its calmness and serenity; through his observation in the real setting, the essence of everyday life is captured on film.
