시놉시스Synopsis

2039년. 세계는 생태계 붕괴 위기에 처하고 수년간 육류 섭취가 금지되었다. 엘리트 육상 코치인 롤라는 100m 달리기 부문 전국 최고 기록 보유자인 제자 에바가 고기 섭취를 통해 성적을 끌어올려 다음 올림픽 출전 자격을 얻었으면 한다. 이를 위해 롤라는 암시장 연줄이 있는 성공한 셰프 카를로스가 육즙 풍부한 쇠고기를 요리하도록 비밀리에 일을 꾸민다. 생애 처음으로 고기를 맛보게 된 에바는 소와 교감을 나누고 현실에 대한 인식을 바꾸는 초자연적인 경험을 하게 된다. 에바는 롤라를 버리고 본능을 따르기로 한다. 그녀는 롤라 없이 훈련을 다시 시작하지만 더 이상 살아있는 소를 만나지는 못한다.
The year is 2039, the world is on the verge of ecological collapse and meat consumption has been banned for years. Lola, an elite athletics coach, wants her pupil Eva, a young national record holder in the 100 m sprint, to start eating meat in order to improve her performance and qualify for the next Olympics. To do so, he organises a clandestine ceremony in which Karlos, a successful chef with contacts in the black market, prepares a succulent beef chop for them. When Eva tastes the meat for the first time, she experiences a supernatural experience in which she interacts with a cow and which alters her perception of reality. After abandoning Lola and following her instinct, Eva resumes her training on her own, which leads to the unsuccessful search for a live cow.
